Remediation of Contaminated Groundwater

Groundwater contamination is caused by human activities, which would change groundwater’s chemical, physical, biological characteristics and water deterioration. Underground stratum is complex and groundwater flows slowly. Therefore, the feature of groundwater pollution is time-consuming, undetectable and difficult to treat.

Domestic sewage and sludge, industrial waste, chemical fertilizer and pesticide are the main pollutant and it is complicated to remediate. Only professional remediation technologies and rich experienced engineers could secure the remediation effect.

CSSDS adopts “source barrier-process control-end point treatment” technology and “soil and water conservation” strategy, works effectively for NAPL pollution area. Furthermore, the strategy is able to use physical, chemical and biological technologies to meet different demands, aiming at different remediation targets and pollutant types.
